Beautiful new residential area realised in Amersfoort: Noack
October 27, 2022
A beautiful new residential area called Noack has been developed at the Soesterweg in Amersfoort, the Netherlands.
The Noack was once a large factory complex in the Amsterdam School style built in 1917 for the Royal Noack, a producer of fine meats and meat preserves. On this site, 48 ground-level owner-occupied and rental homes and 30 social rental flats have been built by Goossens Te Pas and DW Property.
The architecture refers to the tough, industrial look of Wagenwerkplaats. The apartment complex, designed by 4D Architecten, forms an iconic link between the Soesterkwartier and the Wagenwerkplaats. Designed with fine craftsmanship details to match an industrial look, the flats were realised by MorgenWonen
Together with our partners, DW Property provides sustainable, healthy and social places to live and work. The homes are Zero-Meter, a major plus in today's time with sharply rising energy prices. The green setting and the wadi enhance liveability for residents and provide the necessary water storage.
The public area was recently transferred to the Gemeente Amersfoort. This completes the redevelopment of this site. We wish the residents lots of living enjoyment in their new homes!
